Synchronous rotors

Due to their high power density and small design, synchronous rotors can reach very high torques.

Due to the high torque, a rotor with excellent dynamic properties is available. In addition, e+a synchronous rotors are characterized by high efficiency.

With permanent magnet and CFRP sleeve (tapered sleeve system)

e+a permanent magnet rotors with carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) sleeve provide a very rigid drive train made up of shaft and rotor.

With permanent magnet and CFRP sleeve (direct assembly)

During shaft assembly, the magnets and the carbon fiber bandage are mounted directly onto the customer’s shaft. This allows for a larger shaft hole compared to the carrier system.

With permanent magnet and steel sleeve

Depending on the environmental conditions the motors are exposed to, sleeves made from special ferrous alloys can be used for increasing the durability of the rotors.

IPM - With Interior Magnets

The e+a synchronous motors with internal magnets enable high torque with a wide field-weakening range at low rotor temperatures.

Torque motor with metallic sleeve

e+a torque motors come with a metallic sleeve to improve their durability and reliability.

Core magnet with metallic sleeve

The core magnet design can be used in 2-pole high speed applications for achieving optimum electrical properties despite a low number of poles.
